The addition of this page was suggested by Anthony Langley who runs that excellent Website:- The Great War in a Different Light. It was felt that as dustjackets don’t generally appear on French books, we were in danger of missing some fine examples of cover illustration. In the few examples shown here the design is either printed directly onto the paper or cloth cover, or as a stuck-on colour print. They all date from the war years or just after. Further examples would be most welcome.
